Personal Statement

Mike Rehm is passionate about working with families and couples to exchange painful ways of relating with new patterns of safety and connection. He also understands the issues confronting individuals where there has been abuse and neglect that often results in intimacy and relational difficulty, shame, anger, and spiritual disconnection.

Prior to establishing his private practice, he was employed five years as a primary inpatient and outpatient therapist at an addiction recovery center. His approach is spiritually integrated and includes expertise in recovery from less than nurturing environments, anxiety/panic disorders, post-traumatic stress/PTSD, addictions, compassion fatigue, grieving and loss, relational discord, and marital distress.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona. I am a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals. I hold a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Christian Counseling from Phoenix Seminary, and am a certified professional for Mending the Soul curriculum.
