Personal Statement

I have experience working with a range of issues including those relating to eating disorders, body image, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, grief and loss, family-of-origin issues, marital conflict, perfectionism, anger, and managing stress. I hope to give you a safe place to be known and that we, together, can work to find healing in and redemption of the really hard places in your life. Change and growth can be hard and yet I firmly believe they are possible. You are not alone and there is hope. It would be a privilege for me to walk with you on your journey towards healing and wholeness.

I care deeply for people and love the uniqueness of each of our stories, personalities, passions, and context of life. We were made to be known and connected in relationship; however, fear, shame, and hurt often steal our joy and affect our relationship with ourselves, others, and God and we grasp to find ways to cope with disappointments, heartaches, loss, and stress.
