Personal Statement
Are you grieving a death, divorce, broken relationship, loss of pet, your spouse's extramarital affair, or any number of losses that occur over a lifetime? Grieving is a normal and natural reaction. My speciality is working with adults and children who have suffered losses in their lives. Whenever there is a loss, there are always things that were left unsaid between you and your loved one; things you wish could have been different or better.
Often, grievers feel awkward showing their true feelings in front of family and friends. Instead, emotions are kept bottled up inside so as not to burden others with your pain. Having lost a child through a tragic drowning accident, I can assist you in understanding your conflicted feelings. My program is structured with a beginning, middle, and end. Feedback from my clients has been very positive.
I am a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My experience is specialized and has provided me with the competence, experience and compassion to assist you. Allow me to help you discover your, "new normal." I also facilitate bereavement groups for adults and children.
