Personal Statement

Life can occur in a fog, and we may not understand why. This cloudiness can keep us in the dark and block more positive aspects from shining on us. Sadness, fear, anxiety, fatigue, and anger can impact life in such a way that we can become lost and unaware of the factors that impede wellness. In these times, you must participate in self care. Having someone available to listen to your concerns can help you sort through your options, provide objectivity, and allow you to release painful emotions.

The mission of my practice is to provide others with a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to discover underlying issues and potential solutions. My areas I specialize in treating are anger, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma (at any point in life), couples’ counseling, and family counseling.

I am also available to act as a life coach and am a certified PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) instructor. Beyond therapy, I also facilitate group workshops, psycho education classes, and group therapy for couples.
