Personal Statement

While I tailor my aims to suit the needs of each unique client, I always strive to foster a counseling relationship that is safe, healing, and honest. I aim to empower my clients to use their particular gifts and strengths to overcome any obstacle. Above all, I aim to provide a setting where open and respectful conversation naturally flows—a place in which clients can master skills and resources to overcome any issues they may face.

Throughout my developmental years I witnessed individuals and families struggles with disabilities, cancer, loss, major life transitions, divorce and mental illness. It was through this time that I developed an understanding for the importance of professional support through major life events and felt my own calling to pursue counseling.
