Personal Statement
As a holistic therapist I believe that the mind, body and spirit are involved in one’s mental health and believe in the treatment of the whole person. I practice therapy with the belief that you already have everything you need to heal within yourself and it’s my job to help you discover and tap into it.
It is my passion and my honor to assist people on their journey to wellness. The tools I have to do so include EMDR, mind-body medicine, hypnotherapy, thought field therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy and over 23 years of experience.
As a clinical social worker who has worked with people of diverse cultures in a variety of settings, from all walks of life, from toddlers to the elderly, and with people of all socioeconomic means, I believe in the innate ability of people to heal and tap into their own inner source of wisdom. The tools and support that I can bring to the process assists clients in tapping into their own healing powers.
In addition, Lynn Marie Marrs, LICSW is a Certified Adlerian Life Coach and a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer and have a passion to support parents in this most important and challenging job. Reaching out for help is the first step on your journey to wellness.
