Personal Statement

You can have deep comfort in your close relationships and within yourself. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I support my clients in the discovery of their own wisdom to resolve the challenges they face. My approach to therapy is warm & collaborative, well-informed by my experience and education in Emotionally Focused Therapy, human development, conflict resolution, and family systems. When clients and colleagues refer to me, they highlight the safe space that I create which enables my clients to experience deep levels of self-understanding and self-compassion, leading to a renewal of their ability to self-direct their lives & create meaningful relationships.

My specialty areas include couples therapy, depression and anxiety, parenting, and supporting individuals and families with sensory sensitivities and attention problems, social skills challenges, and learning differences.

As a person in her middle years, a parent & partner, a yoga/meditation practitioner for 20+ years, and one who has lived in different cultures, you will find that I am genuine, thoughtful and practically experienced. Relationships don't have to be work.
