Personal Statement

Hi! I’m a relationship specialist and an LGBTQIA affirmative therapist, specializing in helping goal-oriented women work through relationship blocks, enhance self esteem and body image issues, diminish perfectionism, and develop and sustain healthy relationships with themselves and others. I work with strong, smart, reflective women across the life span, who are interested in exploring your impact on your relationships and the world.

I work with young adults to assist them in developing a strong sense of self worth, managing anxiety, recovering from body image distortions and eating disordered behaviors, and working on cultivating healthy and satisfying relationships. I also work with overachieving women in their 30s, 40s and beyond to manage anxiety, cultivate balance in your life, work on issues pertaining to sexuality and identity, and to redefine yourself through life transitions.

I particularly enjoy working with clients who are creative, passionate, insight oriented, and are interested in questioning the dominant culture, the belief systems in which you were raised, and are wanting to create a unique and satisfying life. I work with GLBTQIA issues and love working with unconventional women.

My focus is on helping you to reflect on your life, to extricate yourself from old patterns that are no longer serving you, learn to cultivate rich and meaningful relationships, and create a new life story that resonates with how you want to live.

I provide in-office sessions as well as online therapy and coaching sessions.
