Personal Statement

I have spent my life helping people discover their own voice and free themselves from dysfunctional patterns that keep people feeling stuck. This, coupled with extensive experience in a wide array of settings from hospitals, to prisons, from residential facilities to outpatient settings, arms me with a unique and vast knowledge base that I bring to both the counseling and supervisory relationship.

I have over 16 years experience in the counseling field in a variety of populations. Some of my specialties include:

I possess a compassionate and direct approach that fosters a relationship of openness and honesty. I value integrity and accountability and I approach every situation with the belief that we have the power to control only ourselves within it.

Personally, I enjoy a very fulfilling life with my husband and son. I love to river run, snowboard, fly fish and Mt. Bike. I have continued with my love of the arts through my own music and painting. I’ve recently gotten into gardening and am happy to say, I rarely kill my vegetable garden anymore! I look forward to hearing from you and would love to help in whatever way I can!
