My name is Kathy Chapel and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. I maintain a private practice in West Hills and Simi Valley. With over ten years experience as a marriage and family therapist, I currently serve as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help yous effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to you. With compassion and understanding, I work with you to help you build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing.
Kathy has a Master of Science in counseling, marriage and family therapy, California State University Northridge, 2002; and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from California State University Northridge, 1998.
With over 30 years experience in the medical industry, and 14 years in psychotherapy, Kathy is also California State certified as a crisis intervention specialist, domestic violence counselor, and rape crisis counselor. Trained in neuro-linguistic programming.
