Personal Statement

Life isn't always easy. All of us will face hardships, inconveniences, disappointments and letdowns. I use principles from my life experiences and professional training to impart wisdom, insight and understanding to those who desire to obtain mental stability and understanding. Through private and/or group sessions I bring clarity to a variety of complex situations. When my clients leave they will be enriched, encouraged and enlightened by their counseling experience.

For the last 20+ years of his professional and personal life, Kami Roberts has worked with teenagers, families, couples and individuals to look at various issues that negatively affect their lives. He graduated from New York University with a Bachelors’ degree in Applied Psychology (1994) and he then went on to receive a Masters’ degree in Social Work (1997) from New York University Graduate School of Social Work.

His work included stints in the Department of Education, Kings County Hospital, Grand Street Settlement, Jewish Board of Family and Children Services (JBFCS), Youth DARES and Bridge Back to Life.
