Personal Statement

John specializes in transition, wholehearted living and existential understanding. He has helped many clients successfully navigate complicated life challenges, relationships, addictions, grief and loss. John credits his own transition as the foundation for his ability to help clients explore and navigate their own journey. After 10 years as a software engineer with Thomson Reuters and about a year after the death of his father, John resigned his job, sold his house, and began an amazing yet often times challenging journey into the unknown - spending the next 10 years living, working and volunteering in Alaska, Ireland, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Colorado, and California.

Though he is well trained and educated as a psychotherapist, John’s experience navigating adversity and the unknown is equally significant in helping clients discover their authenticity. Clients often attribute his compassion, candor and humor with helping them find the courage to move into wholehearted living.

Helping clients move through addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, eating disorders and much more. Offering knowledge and experience to help clients make bold choices toward meaning, fulfillment and growth.
