Personal Statement
Jennifer's commitment is to provide an authentic and caring atmosphere (along with some genuine laughs) in which these and other life issues/concerns can be addressed. She is an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who is compassionate about empowering others to find peace and happiness.
Her passion centers around empowering her clients to discover freedom from debilitating anxiety, peace from inner turmoil and relief from intrusive thoughts of suicide or urges toward self-injurious behavior. Clients are guided to rediscover inner strengths and develop new awareness of situations, behaviors and beliefs based on the premise that you are the expert in you.
Jennifer grew up as a child of a divorced and then re-blended family, and describes her self-searching in early life as constant – frequently filled with confusion, anger and a great deal of loss, change, and simply trying to “fit in.” Some of the biggest struggles she acknowledges in her adult life are some life-altering changes to a few significant relationships, as well as the death of her father. Jennifer, in time, has embraced the philosophy that all of these experiences were valuable learning lessons and that they continue to inform her on how to cope with grief and change.
Are you struggling to find hope and peace in your relationships? Are you so busy doing things for others you've somehow lost yourself? Feeling Angry? Sad? Anxious? Lost? Unheard?
