Personal Statement

People seek individual, couples, and family counseling for different reasons. They may be seeking to improve their relationships, their communications skills, cope with parenting challenges, or generally find more fulfillment in their lives. But there is a common thread: a feeling of “stuck-ness” and a frustration that something just isn’t working. Having a guide on your journey is important.

My approach is evidence-based with the goal of helping you identify what isn’t working and then collaborate on a sensible plan to address those needs, with goal-oriented work designed to return you back to a life that is happier and more successful.

The goal is that through counseling you will gain insight into your unhelpful thinking patterns and be able to change them, have healthier and more secure attachments in your relationships, and become equipped with the skills to generate a greater sense of control and empowerment in your life.
