Personal Statement

To achieve balance and well-being, one must look within the context of their own life. Relationships, environment, and personal ideals reflect upon each person and affect general wellness. The psychotherapy I provide focuses on this context: the brief systems approach. I offer treatment to each client that identifies concerns and highlights solutions within the context of their lives.

Since 1997, I have counseled individuals, couples, and families. The objective of my practice is to provide clients with the opportunity for personal growth and to attain fulfillment and resolution. By using the important relationships surrounding each individual (for support and understanding), I work with my clients to deal with a diverse selection of issues, such as depression, self-esteem, stress management, addictions (substance abuse, pornography), suicidal ideation, and other important areas of mental and emotional health. I also help people work through life’s difficult transitions, such as aging, parenting, career and education decisions, as well as relationship/marital conflicts.
