Personal Statement

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor, as well as being a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have worked in the Mental Health field since 2008, obtaining experience in Case Management, Home Based Therapy, Individual, Couples, Family and Group Therapy, Psychiatric Hospital Intake, and Supervision/Management.

I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression, anxiety and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. I specialize in children/adolescents as well as adults, to treat trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, borderline personality disorder, behavioral difficulties, and relationship/martial difficulties.

In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my patient's individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.

My specialties include children aged 6-17, and their family support system. I work to provide child and family therapy to strengthen the parental role, while developing positive relationships.

Available treatment options include Individual, Family, Couples, and Group Therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I work with my patients to establish their goals for therapy, and assist them to reach those identified goals in their own time. The most important person in the therapy session is you, and therefore I will coordinate and collaborate with you to develop the best treatment approach.
