Personal Statement
Therapy is a process and my goal is to guide you toward a better understanding of yourself and your choices and to identify strengths and weaknesses impacting your daily living. Because therapy is not one-size-fits-all, my approach is based on your current struggles, concerns and personality style. Your goal as a patient is to one day leave therapy with new insights, tools and strategies to live life to the fullest.
I have been a licensed psychologist since 2001. My office is in a quiet, comfortable downtown Boise historic home. I work with adults, teens and couples on issues including emotional disturbance (anxiety/depression), self-esteem, relationship conflict, stress management and grief/loss. I also work in the fields of adoption and infertility.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help patients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing.
