Personal Statement
You may be looking for something but not know exactly what you need. I can help you make a decision about the kinds of services that may work best for you, whether it is coaching, counseling, therapy or a short consultation about a specific problem. Many clients come in unsure of what they need and what their choices are. That is where you and I will begin. Together we can develop a plan that will fit you.
My clients say that I am warm, funny and easy to talk to. I stay up to date with the latest approaches and am a lifelong learner, committed to constantly growing my skills.
I know what it is like to create a marriage, go through a divorce, get remarried, have children and stepchildren, be a caregiver for elders, work at odd jobs, build a business, cope with stress, be a leader and have a dream. Those challenges and experiences have made me a better psychologist and a more empathic person.
My interests are stress management, couples counseling, career and work issues, adult children of alcoholics and the psychology of money. I read extensively, attend workshops and conferences and stay up to date with changes in the field of psychology. I like to give presentations and workshops to the general public and to my colleagues in the field.
