Personal Statement
Dr. Pang works with adolescents, adults, couples and families and uses cognitive behavioral techniques and strategies to address a variety of mental health issues. Dr. Pang's emphasis is on transformative change and equipping each one of her clients with the skills to overcome the complexities of life's challenges and find ways to successfully navigate emotional and mental pain in the process of healing. Dr. Pang approaches each client uniquely so as to develop a treatment plan and goals that are specific to each client's needs and concerns.
Dr. Pang received her PhD from Texas A&M University Commerce in 2008 and her Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Talbot School of Theology in 1994 and 1996. Dr. Pang also has two law degrees and an MBA and has over 25 years of experience in business and education. Dr. Pang is also a Certified Christian Counselor. Dr. Pang served as a post doctoral resident in Houston at the Krist Samaritan Center prior to joining Richland Oaks Counseling Center/Uptown Analytic Practices in March of 2014.
Private pay sessions are 45 minutes in length and fees range from $100 to $230 based on a sliding scale based on income. Longer sessions may be scheduled upon request. Neuropsychological testing is also available and fees are determined based upon types of testing. Halstead-Reitan and Memory testing, among other testing is available. Insurance sessions are 60 minutes in length and your insurance co-pay or deductible payment is collected at time of services.
