Personal Statement

In this fast-paced world, it is easy to lose focus on what is most important. Our sessions will consist of a combination of two parts: seeing you as a couple and individually. Together, we will customize a treatment plan based on your specific needs. As a couple, you will learn to communicate better and solve problems more effectively in a positive environment. During the individual sessions, you will have the opportunity to deal with personal matters which impact your relationship, and to express the anger and resentment that interfere with your marriage.

I view psychological treatment as a partnership. The therapy process starts in the first session when you explain your concerns, and I provide feedback and recommendations. From the beginning, we will work together to set goals, define problem areas, and map out the best way to proceed.

Your treatment plan will be individualized according to your needs and circumstances. Along the way, I’ll provide guidance and concrete suggestions to help you get “unstuck” from unproductive patterns of behavior.

By the end of the program, you will have learned many tools to help you achieve a happy marriage. You will have learned to communicate more positively and effectively. You will be better equipped to solve life’s problems, large or small. You will enjoy your mate again and rekindle the spark between you!
