Personal Statement

I provide guidance to a diverse population of individuals from all walks of life. I have a varied work experience, which has helped me to treat my clients with perspective and passion. I work with children from age 6 to elderly patients, and I mostly provide services for depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and issues with loneliness. I utilize a range of techniques to help people cope with traumas and grief, such as eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT).

In addition to these issues, I also work with people regarding legal matters, such as family mediation, divorce, civil mediation, and healthcare/medical arbitration. I provide parenting counseling, career counseling and assessment, and I treat military veterans struggling with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

People cannot find relief or resolution without insight and a willingness to accept. Change comes from within, and it is my job to help those who seek to find their path to reconciliation, happiness, and healing. Let me help you navigate your path to wellness.

I am also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, Circuit Civil Mediator, a Qualified Arbitrator and a Parent Coordinator. Howard works with a group of caring professionals who offer a cooperative approach to divorce and other family disputes.
