Personal Statement

The journey to positivity, wellness, and productivity requires the cohesiveness of body, mind, and spirit. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, integrating the power of the heart with this cohesion. Emotions play an integral role in our challenges and triumphs. Through raising self-awareness, my clients are able to navigate through life’s bumps to find peace and joy, which lead to purpose and productivity.

I offer counseling and art therapy to children (ages 3 and up), adolescents, and adults, and I serve people of all backgrounds. I have experience counseling same-gender couples, as well as people in the process of a gender transition. I have extensive experience helping others heal and recover from alcohol and drug addictions. Individuals may see me for therapy regarding traumatic brain injury (TBI), behavioral issues, antisocial personality, borderline personality, developmental disorders, dual diagnosis, emotional disturbance, oppositional defiance, PTSD and trauma, sexual abuse, anger management, self-harm, grief, and much more. I also provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families experiencing conflict, difficulties with peer relationships, and divorce.
