Personal Statement
I offer supportive services with an affordable and comprehensive approach in order to help Children, Families, Adolescents and Young Adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Substance Abuse and other Mental Health Disorders. I have the ability to match the needs of the client with the professional that has the skill set necessary to provide the best therapeutic outcome.
Throughout 25 plus years in the therapeutic field I have worked with some of the most challenging yet talented adolescents. I enjoy working with adolescents who are struggling with the questions like; Who am I? Where am I going? How do I get there?
As adolescents begin making the transition to adulthood, they face many fears. They often become stuck and reluctant to face an impending transformation. Young people who are transitioning from high school to a college/workplace often need support with their social, emotional, learning, and living skills. I can help!
I enjoy relational as well as group and family work. Being adopted myself at the age of 12; I understand the trials and tribulations that young people who are adopted experience. I can help them move through the process of self-acceptance and assist where needed.
I also welcome adolescents transitioning to adulthood who just need that extra support to understand themselves as they move through this process.
