Personal Statement
I specialize in working with families through every stage of their journey, helping them thrive. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of emotional or behavioral issues, helping parents operate as a stronger team, and helping families build stronger connections through the variety of transitions that family life brings. I also work with individuals and couples helping them achieve balance, personal growth, and healing in their relationships. I help clients of all ages build emotional regulation skills and resiliency.
I work with children, teens, and adults and take a developmental and relational approach to helping individuals and families grow and heal. Growth happens throughout a lifetime and everyone has the capacity for meaningful change. Small shifts often result in increased satisfaction in your life and relationships. Let's talk.
Working with parents and families, I help them shift from a behavioral perspective to a developmental and relational perspective. This helps them to see behavior and conflict in a new way and opens up possibilities for healing, growth, and stronger family relationships.
My clinical experience includes working with anxiety and depression, trauma recovery, life transitions, strengthening couple/family relationships, social/emotional/behavioral challenges with children and adolescents, and parenting support.

Therapy is more than just talking about your problems. A therapist is trained to notice patterns and underlying themes in the conversations that take place in therapy. Through learning how these patterns and themes show up in your life, you can start making shifts that can interrupt problematic patterns and reinforce helpful ones.
