Personal Statement
From our very first session, I will be working with you to help you feel better and find ways to reach your goals. I will listen carefully in order to understand as much as possible about what you are going through. I will ask questions when needed and give sensitive feedback to you in a timely manner.
Shortly after you begin therapy you and others may begin to notice positive changes in yourself. As you begin to make better decisions for yourself, you will find that the problems that first brought you to therapy, such as feelings of depression, anxiety, codependency, or anger will have less power to affect you. You may feel more confident, and may experience improvement in relationships with your friends, loved ones and in your career.
My clients often tell me that therapy helps them to become more reflective and in control of their lives, and that they are becoming more capable of attracting the kinds of people and situations they want. This is because therapy helps one to discover strengths that were previously unknown, or if known, not being used effectively. Therapy can be an amazing tool for personal transformation.
If we work together, I will remain involved in your progress throughout the course of your treatment. I will support you as you pursue the challenging, rewarding path of positive, lasting change. Whether you opt for short or long term work, therapy is an investment in yourself that lasts a lifetime.

I have found that many who start therapy are as skeptical as I was that positive change is possible. What I have come to believe over time is that change is always possible, if you are willing to work for it.
