Personal Statement
Do you find yourself taking care of everybody else and there's no time left for you? Do you feel stressed out and overwhelmed? I'm committed to helping people recognize their self-worth as well as overcome challenges in order to achieve more fulfilling lives. When we meet, I will demonstrate genuine care and compassion and provide a safe, supportive (non-judgmental) environment so that you'll feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional/binge eating, grief and loss, trauma, and career development concerns.
We all face our own struggles, so I take a person-centered approach. Are you feeling sad, insecure, or inadequate? Do you worry excessively or compare yourself to others and wish your life were different? If so, let's meet. I'm here to listen and to support you!
I value self-expression, honesty, and respect in the counseling process and am dedicated to facilitating your own exploration in a relaxed and affirming environment. Known for being exceptionally observant and for paying great attention to detail, I look forward to helping you achieve your individual goals!
