Personal Statement

People do not live in isolation; they live in families, in communities, in marriages, in friendships, essentially in relationships. Being alone and growing old alone is a fear that has been shared with me many times. Family is held up as a sacred institution, yet for many people family is a stressful, uncompromising, or even dangerous place.

The mind is so complex, using hypnosis with therapy increases the effectiveness of the work. A hypnotic trance is a natural state of being both focused and relaxed at the same time, which is a great state for learning new skills and for learning to use old skills in new ways to improve relationships with others and with ourselves.
