Personal Statement
People do not struggle with issues within the context of isolation; they are most likely a part of a partnership, family, and other relational systems. Family and marriage therapists are especially equipped at assisting individuals in this context, utilizing these outside systems for sources of strength, support, and encouragement.
Having been in practice since 2005, I offer individuals, couples, and families an array of services. I have worked with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults. I help people within the context of a relationship/system, who are experiencing conflicts within parenting, marriage, pre-marriage, and family life. There are many disorders, emotions, and behaviors I help others cope with, which include depression, anxiety, defiance, ADHD, grief, anger, sex addiction, and sexual dysfunction.
I am especially equipped to provide intensive therapies, such as EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) and IRRT (information rescripting and reprocessing therapy), for people suffering from a past trauma and childhood abuse (sexual, physical, and emotional). These therapies are highly effective in helping people work through the emotional toll of these experiences.
