Personal Statement

Chronic and persistent problems hold us back from leading happier and more fulfilling lives. For over 20 years, I have been helping individuals and couples seek resolution and peace through cognitive behavioral therapy and other approaches. I can provide you with tools to effectively move past harmful and recurring behaviors and thoughts that are holding you back.

With individuals, I treat depression, anxiety and fears, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), dissociative disorders, personality disorders, and disorders pertaining to the elderly. I also help clients work through divorces, grief, domestic abuse (as well as adults abused as children), and parenting, and I offer general life coaching.

For couples, my goal isn’t just to provide a safe place to share your feelings with each other, but I want to give you tools to use to make your relationships stronger. I will teach you effective communication techniques, rules for arguing, dialogue and listening tools, and a variety of other methods to strengthen the overall relationship.
