Personal Statement

I often work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, life transitions, and parent-child concerns. I especially enjoy and am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults as different facets of their personhood are revealed and they begin to discover their abilities, values, and identity. The teenage years can be confusing, overwhelming, and intense for all members of the family. I enjoy navigating this time with teens and their parents in order to thrive and prepare for meaningful lives as adults.

I have the privilege of working with children, teens, young adults, and their families who often say they live with feelings of overwhelm, hopelessness, and uncertainty. Aside from traditional talk therapy, I help facilitate personal and relationship growth by using art, dreamwork, sand tray, and mindfulness in order to promote awareness and wholeness.

I provide a genuine attitude, compassion, and curiosity. I have personally learned that when the soul requires change, the journey can be both scary and satisfying. I would be honored to work with you as you learn to listen to your own inner knowing!
