I delight in engaging people to further their abilities to connect with others and thrive themselves. You and I go to the places of concern together and find solutions that last. The therapy road is as unique as you are and I tailor the approach to fit each relationship. I am licensed both in professional counseling and marriage and family therapy. I have an additional specialty in Play Therapy for youth.
Ariel achieved a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi and a Masters in Teaching from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi. Her experience ranges from preschool day treatment in community mental health, to an intensive group therapy setting for adults recovering from substance abuse, emotional and psychological disorders, to dating/premarital and married couples’ therapy, adolescent and child therapy in private practice. She has consulted with attorneys, and witnessed in court as needed. She and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Mississippi since 2006
