Personal Statement

I’ve always known that I wanted a career that I could help people. I feel lucky to have met so many individuals that are willing to open up and share their personal experiences with me. Before entering the counseling field, I worked as a college recruiter. I mentored teens ranging from ages fourteen to nineteen. While I enjoyed my role as a recruiter, I knew that I wasn’t working in a field that I was truly passionate about.

I provide counseling for teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, trauma, women's issues, sexuality, etc. I understand that beginning therapy is not easy and takes many people out of their comfort zone. I believe in a warm and nurturing environment that allows clients to work at their own pace.

Your journey is your own, and I offer a non-judgmental approach with each person. My intention is to provide a safe space that allows you the opportunity to become a better version of yourself. I hope that each person I meet feels welcomed, valued, and respected, yet challenged enough to reach their potential growth.
