Personal Statement

Anna Valenti-Anderson is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed substance abuse counselor (LISAC), certified sex addiction therapist supervisor (CSAT-S), and certified multiple addictions therapist (CMAT). She works in her private psychotherapy practice in north central Phoenix. Anna specializes in work related to trauma, sexuality and intimacy, and addiction. She has published, lectured and facilitated workshops on topics related to shame, self-esteem, trauma, codependency, addiction and sexuality. As an adoptee, Anna has personal insight that can help adoptees and their families address myriad emotional and intrapersonal challenges.
