Personal Statement
I work collaboratively with adults and teens experiencing self-harm, depression, anxiety and divorce related conflicts. My philosophy is simple: leave each client feeling well and peaceful. I understand how stressful life can be! I created The Counseling Studio to help people find peace when dealing with divorce, depression, anxiety and grief.
In my therapy work, I draw on my life experience as much as my credentials to provide a warm, understanding experience for you. Growing up in a divorced family, experiencing my own divorce, remarriage and widowhood, all while parenting my children has given me a perspective to successfully help others through life's up and downs.
This is the place where feeling alone and undervalued becomes feeling empowered; where feeling overwhelmed becomes feeling free; where feeling confused becomes feeling clear; and wanting a more peaceful life becomes possible.
