Heart sense therapy highlights our hearts capacities to simultaneously know and feel. As we become aware of our present time experience, a new intimacy with ourselves can emerge out of this “felt sense” inviting inward and outward healing. This orientation emphasizes a variety of therapeutic techniques including focusing, present process, and self-inquiry which are drawn from complementary therapeutic approaches drawn from complimentary therapeutic approaches such as object relations psychology, cognitive therapy, and mindfulness.
