Personal Statement

As a Couple and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping people build healthier, happier relationships. I believe in the importance of connection - that our mind, body and spirit are connected within us, and that we are also connected to others in significant ways. I value helping clients restore those connections internally and within relationships. I help couples and individual partners work through issues such as: loss of connection, communication issues, grief and loss, infertility, rebuilding trust, trauma/PTSD/past abuse, adoption, illness, preparing for or adjusting to a new marriage/committed relationship, and more. All couples welcome.

I strive to make space for the many dimensions of culture that inform people's lives (race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.). I also work with those who have experienced past abuse/trauma, and am committed to joining clients on a path toward healing.

I also work to create a safe place for people to explore the joy, confusion, or pain associated with their spirituality or faith journey and can incorporate spirituality (whatever that looks like for you) into therapy if you would like to.
