This thing called life offers all sorts of unexpected obstacles that pose the question of how we handle them. Therapy enables us to feel empowered to overcome what stands in front of us. We must self-search and manage internal issues to obtain that empowered position.

My passion is walking alongside adults and adolescents suffering from all-consuming eating disorders and attachment issues, like codependency. Attachment issues and unresolved trauma can be the source of our intrusive anxious thinking, dark depression and addictions that monopolize our attention. Where these all-consuming problems are constantly knocking at the door, it feels nearly impossible to work through outstanding external issues.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counseling, Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) for a couple years and have practiced more than five years in the mental health field. I have worked in residential settings, counseling mostly females ages 13-82 during that time. I draw from varying approaches to meet the needs of my clients. Fundamentally, I utilize Internal Family Systems, Strengths-Base Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Attachment Theory. I have seen these orientations support others in tilling up root issues to replant positive thinking and self-confidence to establish their goals. I hope for the possibility of walking alongside you to find your authentic, powerful self.
