Personal Statement
I provide therapy so my clients can find balance and a path to personal growth. Creating a personalized experience based on specific needs, I offer therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. The populations I serve include minor children, adolescents, and adults, who struggle with emotional and behavioral issues, as well as other challenges.
The areas with which I specialize include treating depression, anxiety, counseling for minors, ADHD, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction and recovery, and grief. I also include counseling for couples, families, and individuals dealing with issues pertaining to LBGT dynamics, conflict resolution, career choices, parenting support, and stress management.
I utilize a variety of techniques to treat each individual I see. Integrating therapies from many approaches, I strive to create a unique plan to help each client meet his or her goals. I have been trained to use many psychological orientations, including cognitive behavioral, humanistic, parent-child interaction, trauma focused cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, solution focused brief (SFBT), attachment-based, and many more types of therapy.
I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
